This place has been here for many, many years and I've walked by many times. It's conveniently located right next to the 74th Street Jackson Heights stop. However, it wasn't until recently that I tried it. This is a very no frills Korean BBQ and is not that spacious, but is very authentic. My experience here was very pleasant overall.

We had the bulgogi, kalbi, and bbq chicken. All three meats were well seasoned and very juicy. They also had just enough flavor without being too salty, which I have encountered at other Korean BBQ places. The usual side dishes were plentiful and tasted fine too. The prices here I would say are a little more expensive than the average Queens Korean BBQ, with a 3 meat BBQ combo costing $89.99. However, the portions of meat were larger than normal too. We ended up having a lot of meat left over to take home.

    Credit card limit is $20.
Precious reviews had mentioned issues with the decor etc but I thought it was fault clean and presentable
Service was quick but it wasn't busy when I visited
Tried the kimchi pancake which feels very fried and kinda heavy (really meant to be shared)
And also tried the chicken fried rice which was Ok, not bad.
Would definitely try again and try other dishes to see how it pans out. Conveniently across the train station/ bus station.

I have been meaning update my review. The owners changed from my last review.

With the new owners, there were raised prices, smaller portions, and less flavor. Previously I've always had generous portion sizes, amazing flavors, and excellent customer service. Now, it's not worth my trip.

I used to come all the way from Brooklyn to eat this place. I'm no longer impressed. It's still good but for the same price in Flushing you can get better flavors, quality, and service. There no 'wow factor' that makes me want to come back again soon.

That being said, if it's nearby and convenient, I would still come. It's good but not 'omg good.'

Great spot conveniently located right by the Jackson Heights train station. No frills korean spot open 24 hours for when you want a home cooked meal. First thing I noticed walking in was what appeared to be korean mom waiters. Really adds to the homey feel. Got a bulgogi over rice and a seafood soondobu. Gotta say the veggies and white pepper was a nicely added twist to the bulgogi. Comes with bottomless banchans total bill came to $30 pretip. 4 stars cuz it was tough to get the waiters' attention despite having enough help

    Food: 4/5
Found this place by accident. Our usual go to restaurant was closed so we gave this place a try. I was a bit turned off by the appearance of the restaurant. It's in major need of renovation but being the hungry foodie I am, I'd give any place a try. I was pretty surprised at how delicious the food was. Ordered two servings of pork belly and kimchi jigae. The pork belly slices were thick and juicy. The kimchi jigae was also very tasty and we requested some glass noodles be put in it which they happily accommodated. A serving of pork belly consists of 3 slices so two servings equates to 6 slices. This is enough to feed three people. Their portions are very generous! Our meal came out to roughly $70.

    Service: 3.5/5
The ladies here are very nice and accommodating. I think we came at an awkward time but they were chitchatting and peeling garlic at the same time. Our pork belly was a bit over cooked but the ladies are all super friendly.

    Ambiance: 1/5
This place is in dire need of renovation. It looks a bit dirty and it's very old. The walk downstairs to the bathroom is sketchy and questionable.

    Overall: 3/5
Decent food with generous portions. I would give this place a better review if they renovated. The restaurant just seems dirty. Definitely not a great date spot but I'd go back if I was craving pork belly with friends.
